It's that time of year again.  We're ramping up and getting ready to fill volunteer slots for this year's installment of Southern Interactive Entertainment and Games Expo (SIEGE) coming up in October.  Add yourself to the volunteer pool by registering here: http://siegevolunteer.ggda.org

You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Whether you are a veteran volunteer from last year or a fresh face eager to get into SIEGE, pro-actively staying in contact will give you the best shot at being selected as a volunteer for SIEGE.  Chocolate chip cookies also work well.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

Being a volunteer at SIEGE gives you several advantages. First and foremost is networking. Your fellow volunteers are either already in the game industry or will soon be, and as we all know this industry is all about who you know (and who knows you). Make friends! Have fun! And while you're doing it, make use of the second benefit of being a volunteer - a free pass to SIEGE! Attend sessions you are interested in and meet the speakers yourself.

As an added benefit this year, time you put into volunteering during the months before the conference will count as part of your required quota volunteer hours, so you'll have fewer hours to work during the actual conference but still get a free pass!
